What are the responsibilities and job description for the Van Drivers - Route and Substitute position at Cambridge-Isanti School District 911?
Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Need to be 21 years in age and have had a driver license for at least 1 year.
Successful background check required.
Previous working with children is a plus.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Successful candidates must be able to work split shift; have skills and aptitude to operate a vehicle safely; enjoy the presence of children; be reliable and punctual.
No experience required - paid training provided to obtain necessary license and endorsements. DOT Physical and drug testing are required.

Specific Tasks:
To safely and efficiently transport students to and from their school site and/or special events.
Hours per day:
4-6 hours per day

- Van Drivers will have the ability to receive training to obtain their Commercial Drivers License and bus endorcement. This would allow them to move into a bus driving position if desired.

As per Bus Driver Agreement
Route Driver Hourly Rate: $24.00/hour, Activity/Dept Hourly Rate: $20.00/hour
May become benefit eligible if combined with other positions.
Salary : $20 - $24
