Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED required.
A successful background check is required.
Prefer experience working with children and behavior modification.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Patience, flexibility, love for children, confidentiality, teamwork, self-starter, thoughtful decision maker, excellent communication skills, behavior management skills, manages the Resource Room with support from the School Counselor and Behavior Interventionist.
Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self-
discipline, and honesty.
Specific Tasks:
Work with students throughout the day assisting with behavior and academics. Builds
relationships with students, Positive Behavior Modification, de-escalate behavior, recognize and acknowledge positive behavior, and work copperatively with staff. Ability to enter data in a computer, process with students regarding behavior choices, supervise students who need
breaks, and support the School Counselor and Behavior Interventionist with daily tasks. This
quick-paced position requires clear and effective communiciation skills, the ability to prioritize, and solid problem-solving skills. Other duties as assigned. See job description for additional information.

6 hours/day
