Qualifications/Experience:
Current Minnesota teaching license required.
Successful background check required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Thorough knowledge of subject(s) taught; thorough knowledge of the principles and methodology of effective teaching; ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior; ability to deliver articulate oral presentations and written reports; and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students and parents. Ability to communicate effectively with school staff and parents

The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with employers, students, and school staff to create meaningful work-based learning opportunities aligned with students' career interests.
Specific Tasks:
Provide an ideal, positive learning environment, instruct students in individual or group sessions, develop, translate and integrate lesson plans, and establish positive relationships. See the job description for additional information. Coordinate and oversee student job placements in the community that align with their career interests. Maintain regular communication with employers to ensure training stations meet educational and safety standards. Monitor and evaluate students’ job performance and growth. Work in tandem with Career Seminar 1 and 2 teachers to ensure curriculum integration. Conduct regular site visits to assess student progress and provide support. Guide students in developing workplace readiness skills including professionalism, responsibility, and communication. Maintain accurate records of student hours, evaluations, and placements. Ensure all placements meet district and state guidelines for work-based learning.Hours Per Day:
