Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED.
A successful background check is required.
Prefer experience working with children.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Ability to relate to and communicate with staff and students. Ability to manage data tracking systems both digitally and physically. Willingness and ability to enforce the Bluejacket Way, and follow through with Administration in accordance with the Code of Conduct. Willingness to expand skills and ask questions when necessary. Ability to take direction of supervising staff. Ability to keep information confidential. Ability to model and reinforce appropriate verbal and interpersonal behavior.

Specific Tasks:
Guide and assist students by reinforcing Bluejacket Way expectations during school day and class times. Assist Administration and staff with safety and security of students during the school day. Report concerns regarding students and/or safety/security to Administration. Make discipline referrals to Administration as necessary. Promote and encourage student independence and reinforce positive behaviors. Build positive relationships with students by supporting them in attending their classes and guiding them to support services within the building as needed. Supervision of Study Halls and assist with lunch supervision. Other duties as assigned. See job description for additional information.

6.5 hours/day
