Job Summary
As a Wound Care Nurse at Cambridge Health Rehabilitation Center, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and monitoring wound conditions in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Your care planning and interventions will improve wound healing and enhance the comfort and quality of life our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and expertise of wound care and prevention program for residents and staff
- Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients exhibiting skin complications
- Provide direct wound care interventions, including dressing changes, debridement, and wound irrigation
- Review, update and direct the implementation of wound care & prevention policies and procedures
- Educate residents, families, and staff on wound care protocols and prevention strategies
Requirements:
- Valid state RN nursing license
- Degree in nursing, epidemiology, biology, microbiology preferred
- 2 years in wound care management, preferably in a Long-Term Care setting
Salary : $65,000 - $100,000
