Job Description
We’re looking for a dependable, community-minded team member to join our co-op as a Store Closer Front End Associate.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a consistent schedule, takes pride in keeping a store clean and organized, and is comfortable getting the store closed up at the end of the day.
Schedule
- Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Closing shift: approximately 2:00pm to 6:30pm
- Opportunity for additional hours may be available
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service
- Operate the register and handle transactions accurately
- Stock shelves and face products throughout the shift
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Complete store closing tasks
- Work both independently and as part of a small team
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)
- Previous customer service experience
- Interest in food, local farms, co-ops, and grocery retail
- Reliable and punctual — Afternoon and Evening availability is required
- Must be at least 18 years old to comply with alcohol sales regulations
- Comfortable checking IDs and following alcohol sale policies
Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift and move boxes and containers weighing up to 50 lbs
- Safely climb and use ladders as needed for stocking and backstock
- Stand and remain on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform these tasks with or without reasonable accommodation
