Join our team as a Fulfillment Associate, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently! We’re a small merchandise business focused on delivering high-quality products and an exceptional customer experience. We sell through our Shopify store and are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented contractor to help manage order fulfillment on-site.
What you’ll do
The Fulfillment Associate will handle packing, shipping, and basic order management. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
- Monitor orders through Shopify and prepare them for shipment.
- Print shipping labels and packing slips using Shopify or connected apps.
- Pack and label products accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all packages are shipped out on schedule (via USPS, UPS, or other carriers).
- Assist in inventory management by tracking materials and reporting discrepancies as needed.
- Communicate with the business owner about supply needs or order issues.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized environment that promotes efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with Shopify or e-commerce platforms preferred (not required; training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and move boxes up to ~30 lbs.
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
- Basic computer skills (email, label printing, spreadsheet updates).
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the workspace.
