This position is responsible for completing project-based ventures assigned by their manager in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Aid Environmental (ENV) Team in implementing an Environmental Management System (EMS), involving developing SOPs
- and documenting Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Review appropriate regulatory standards and incorporate information into existing procedures or develop new procedures to
- ensure company compliance in documentation.
- Assist ENV Team in training to increase awareness and use of the EHS Management System and deployment of such policies
- and procedures across designated departments
- Develop and conduct inspections to ensure compliance. Document action items and collaborate with the ENV and
- Management teams on developing appropriate root cause and corrective actions.
- Support ENV electronic database system and documentation.
- Support ENV record management
- Participate in ENV investigations; contribute towards corrective and preventive actions.
- Discover, develop and implement solutions to improve environmental performance of the organization
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and direction
