We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Guest Services Representative to join our front desk team and help create memorable experiences for our guests.
Position: Guest Services Representative
Status: Part-time [Potential for full-time in season]
Schedule: Varies; must be available weekends, holidays, and some evenings
Location: Rehoboth Beach, Delaware
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm, professional, and genuine welcome
- Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries about reservations, hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
- Handle payment processing, room assignments, and issue room keys
- Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly, courteously, and professionally
- Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and lobby area
- Follow all safety, security, and brand standards
- Assist with reservations, group blocks, and special requests
- Provide recommendations on dining, shopping, and activities in Rehoboth Beach and surrounding areas
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, professional attitude and polished appearance
- Comfortable using computers, hotel property management systems (PMS), and basic office equipment
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with cash and credit card handling
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
