The Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association of Greater Lowell, Inc. (CMAA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Cambodian Americans, people of color, and underserved communities in Greater Lowell. CMAA empowers youth and families through culturally responsive programs in education, health, civic engagement, and social services.
Role Description
The Wrap-Around Community Services Manager reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department’s services. The Manager supervises WACS staff and is expected to lead by example, demonstrating a strong commitment and passion for providing support and services to our community.
Qualifications
- Oversee and Supervise: Manage day-to-day operations of intake, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Community Engagement: Conduct outreach to WACS clients and families to address current issues, needs, and service evaluation.
- Case Management: Provide case management, interpretation, and advocacy for all incoming clients.
- Data Management: Ensure accurate and timely data entry into CMAA’s client management system (CMS).
- Collaboration: Work with other departments (e.g., Civic Engagement, Healthy Living Program), local partners, and relevant non-profit organizations.
- Reporting and Communication: Prepare reports to funders and monthly performance updates for the Executive Director.
- Training and Development: Provide training and support to team members on government regulations and updates.
- Performance Metrics: Collaborate with the Executive Director (or their representative) to establish objective performance metrics, ensuring consistent and high-quality evaluation and goal setting for all program staff.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum of three years of clerical or administrative experience required.
- Supervisory experience and proficiency in program management are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented abilities, with exceptional multitasking skills.
- Commitment to CMAA’s mission and passion for supporting Khmer and other underserved communities.
- Familiarity with the Khmer community and its challenges and needs is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate degree with five years of relevant experience may be considered as a substitute.
Compensation: Salary commensurate with experience: $54,000 - $58,000. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, LTD & STD insurance, paid vacations, summer hours, and paid holidays. We are also closed from Christmas Day to New Year's Day.
