Safety and Security Representative – Camber Children’s Mental Health Hospital, Wichita, KS

Salary: Starting at $18.00 per hour (increases based on education & experience, plus shift differentials)

Shift Differentials:

• 3:00pm–11:00pm: $1.00/hr
• 11:00pm–7:00am: $1.50/hr
• Friday 7:00pm–Monday 7:00am: $2.00/hr

Schedule: 11:00am–11:00pm, 3 shifts per week (36 hours per week)

In this important role, you will help ensure the safety and security of our hospital community while supporting our mission of hope and healing.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure the safety and security of children, families, staff, and visitors within the hospital
• Monitor facility grounds and respond promptly to safety or security concerns
• Utilize intermediate computer skills for documentation and communication
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment

What We’re Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or GED from an accredited high school
• Licensure/Certification: Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance
• Experience: At least one year of related experience and/or training required
• Skills: Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook email
• Must be at least 20 years old to apply
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
