Charge Nurse (RN) – Camber Children's Mental Health Hospital, Wichita KS
Starting Pay: $32.50–$37.00 per hour (Based on Experience & Education)
$2,500 Sign-On Bonus
($625 paid at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and one year of employment)
Are you a compassionate nursing professional dedicated to helping children heal and thrive? Camber Children’s Mental Health is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) to join our caring, multidisciplinary team. In this vital role, you will provide direct patient care, lead and mentor staff, and ensure a safe, supportive environment for children and adolescents receiving mental health treatment.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and coordinate patient care activities on your assigned shift
- Lead and mentor licensed and non-licensed nursing staff
- Participate in staff development and performance evaluation
- Provide direct, compassionate care to children and adolescents
- Represent management and administration in their absence
- Monitor program safety and lead crisis response as needed
What We Offer:
- Starting Pay: $32.50–$37.00 per hour, based on experience and education
- $2,500 Sign-On Bonus paid in four installments during your first year
- Shift Differentials: $3.00/hour for weekday evenings/overnights, $5.00/hour for weekend evenings/overnights

What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Associates degree in nursing required. BSN preferred.
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas
- Experience: At least 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience or ANCC certification in psychiatric nursin
- Must be at least 20 years old to apply. Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required.
