Job Summary
Reeves County Hospital District is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging team. The MRI Tech will perform high-quality MRI examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional customer service. This position is located in a Critical Access Hospital setting and requires participation in the call rotation schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Ensure patient safety by following MRI safety guidelines and screening procedures.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the examination process.
- Operate MRI equipment efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain image quality and ensure proper documentation.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain equipment and report any operational concerns.
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety regulations.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
- Experience working in a hospital imaging department.
- Strong knowledge of MRI procedures and patient care.
- Ability to work independently in a Critical Access Hospital environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Pay: $2,700.00 - $2,800.00 per week
