Veterinary Receptionist Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our animal care team. In this administrative role, you'll check-in our animal patients, update their records and owner information, schedule appointments, process payments, and encourage retail sales of food and other items available in our clinic. You may also be asked to help provide home-care instructions to pet owners. Excellent customer service and computer skills are required.

Veterinary Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities
- Check-in animal patients
- Gather and certify pet and owner information
- Maintain records
- Schedule appointments
- Process payments
- Encourage retail sales
- Prepare prescriptions and explain instructions
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Veterinary Receptionist Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous reception experience is preferred, but not required
- Customer service skills
- Basic math skills and computer literacy
- Comfortable working with animals
