Essential Job Responsibilities
- Work under the direction of special education staff and licensed teachers to support students in general education and special education settings while implementing IEP accommodations, modifications, and instructional supports.
- Assist students with academic, behavioral, communication, and social-emotional needs while promoting independence, safety, and meaningful participation throughout the school day.
- Support students with daily living and personal care needs as needed, which may include toileting, feeding, hygiene, mobility, and functional life skills while maintaining student dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
