Key Responsibilities
Customer Support & Liaison Activities
- Serve as the primary quality liaison between CAMACO facilities, customers, and third-party containment providers.
- Respond locally to customer quality concerns and coordinate immediate containment actions.
- Represent CAMACO professionally during customer meetings, audits, and issue reviews.
- Provide timely and accurate communication regarding quality incidents, containment status, and corrective actions.
- Initiate and manage containment activities for suspect or nonconforming material.
- Conduct product inspections and sorting activities when required.
- Coordinate and supervise third-party sorting companies.
- Verify effectiveness of containment actions and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Maintain containment records, inspection reports, and traceability documentation.
- Investigate quality issues at customer locations and manufacturing facilities.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to identify systemic and process-related issues.
- Verify corrective actions are effectively implemented and sustained.
- Ensure all quality documentation is complete, accurate, and readily available.
- Maintain inspection results, containment reports, customer communications, and quality metrics.
- Provide regular status updates to plant leadership and customer representatives.
- Escalate quality risks that could impact customer production or satisfaction.
- Identify recurring quality concerns and opportunities for improvement.
- Support implementation of lessons learned and read-across activities across facilities.
