Duties
- Operate forklifts and power tools safely to move materials and components within the manufacturing facility
- Interpret production documents, technical drawings, and work orders to accurately assemble products
- Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet specifications
- Perform mechanical assembly tasks using hand tools, power tools, and manual handling techniques
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace following safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles
- Assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions
- Manage heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety standards in production environments
Skills
- Proven experience with factory operations or manufacturing facilities, including assembly line work
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to interpret technical drawings and production documents
- Proficiency with measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and strict adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently
