This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility. The Maintenance Superintendent provides technical guidance, coordination, and operational support to Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Technicians while working closely with the Maintenance Manager

- Support the Maintenance Manager in the coordination and execution of all maintenance operations.
- Serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert for Maintenance Supervisors and Maintenance Technicians.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules, shutdown activities, and major repair projects.
- Provide technical guidance for troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility-related issues.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend actions to improve reliability and uptime.
- Support capital projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.
- Assist with maintenance planning, work order prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Support inventory management of maintenance parts and critical spares.
- Promote compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain operational knowledge of all plant equipment and facility systems.
- Complete and maintain Forklift and Crane Operator training requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications
Required Education & Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Trade school certification or technical degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
