Purpose

Camaco LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Intern to support the HR department with personnel file management and employee onboarding activities. This part-time role offers hands-on experience in Human Resources operations and is ideal for someone interested in developing practical HR skills. We are looking for a candidate who is available to start as soon as possible.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Audit and organize employee personnel files to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Create and maintain electronic personnel records
  • Scan, upload, and properly file HR documents
  • Assist with hourly employee interviewing
  • Support new hire orientation for hourly employees
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HR record-keeping requirements
  • Assist with general HR administrative duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Competencies

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with scanning and electronic filing systems
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Dependable and able to work independently

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting with occasional plant floor visits and observation.
