Main Responsibilities
- Diagnoses, treats, and helps prevent common diseases and injuries.
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, and chronic illnesses
- Prescribes or administers specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
- Orders, performs, interprets tests, and analyzes records and examination information to diagnose patients' conditions.
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records.
- Monitors patients' conditions and progress and reevaluates treatments as necessary.
- Explains procedures and discusses test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
- Advises patients on diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Refers patients to medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Illinois.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required. It is a deal breaker
- EMR (Athena is a plus)
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities

Salary : $110,000 - $112,000
