What You’ll Do:
As a Machinist at CAM Innovation, you will:
- Set up, operate, and maintain manual machine tools especially manual Bridgeport mills, manual lathes and grinders.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to produce precise, custom parts.
- Define machining sequences, set feeds/speeds, and select proper tools and fixtures.
- Inspect your own work against specifications and drawings before handoff.
- Perform maintenance and minor repairs to equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
What You Bring:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in machining or a closely related role.
- Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, indicators, and inspection tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Strong math, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Availability for occasional overtime (evenings/weekends/holidays).
Preferred:
- Experience with semi-automated machine programming.
