Position Summary
The CAD Designer is responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Works closely with engineers, operations, and project managers to ensure accurate and high-quality designs that meet project specifications and standards.
Primary Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities
- Create 2D drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD and MicroStation).
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches to produce detailed drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers and operations to revise and update drawings as needed.
- Ensure all designs comply with company standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Maintain drawing records, documentation, and version control.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to support project goals and deadlines.
- 5 applicable years of experience of CAD design experience.
- Must have demonstrated CAD ability, aptitude, initiative, self-direction and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The following computer experience is required: AutoCAD, MS Word; Excel.
- Working experience and knowledge of environmental, safety, and health guidelines, policies, and procedures as they relate to regulatory compliance.
- Good leadership, organizational, and facilitation skills.
- On site work environment.
- Use of computers and CAD software for extended periods.
