You will oversee the transformation of raw materials and technical drawings into the world’s most durable custom cases. Your objective is simple: on-time delivery, zero defects, and maximum operational efficiency.
The Standard:
We do not manage by "hoping" things get done. We manage by systems, metrics, and presence. You are expected to be on the floor, leading from the front, identifying bottlenecks before they happen, and ensuring every member of the production team operates with discipline and pride.
Key Responsibilities:
· Schedule and oversee daily production runs across wood shop, assembly, and foam fabrication departments.
· Implement and enforce rigorous QC protocols. Every case leaving the facility must meet the Calzone Case standard of excellence.

· Manage raw material levels (plywood, extrusions, hardware, foam) to ensure zero production stoppages while minimizing waste.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant shop floor. Safety is a prerequisite for performance.
· Identify and execute "Lean" initiatives to reduce lead times and increase throughput without compromising quality.
Requirements:
· 5 years in plant management or shop leadership, specifically in custom manufacturing, woodworking, or metal fabrication.
· Ability to read complex blueprints and CAD drawings. Deep understanding of manufacturing equipment and hand tools.
· Proven ability to lead a factory workforce. You must be firm, fair, and capable of earning respect through competence.
· You don't bring problems to the GM; you bring solutions. You must be able to pivot production schedules on the fly when priorities shift.
· Clear, direct communication style. You must be able to translate technical specs to the floor and status updates to the front office.
What We Offer:
· Competitive salary based on experience and performance metrics.
· The authority to shape the production culture of a legacy brand.
· A direct path to high-level leadership as the company expands into new markets.
· Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, 401K & PTO.
