What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend Activity Coordinator position at Calyx Senior Living?
Calyx Living is actively seeking an energetic and creative Weekend Activity Coordinator for our contemporary assisted living community! We are located in beautiful North Durham off the Eno River and just minutes from Duke University, the Durham Bulls Athletic Park and the American Tobacco Campus in downtown Durham's vibrant entertainment district.
Calyx is looking to hire a Weekend Activity Coordinator who will be responsible for the implementation of a vibrant, holistic and varied recreational activity program at the community on weekends.
Weekend Activity Coordinator Qualifications:
- An outgoing warm personality along with a passion to work with seniors
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- A current driver's license in good standing in NC
- Ideally has one year of activity programming experience.
- Preferably, has a degree in Recreation Administration or Therapeutic Recreation or is certified as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist
