What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Social Media Manager and Content Creator position at Calypso Aesthetic Lab?
Calypso Aesthetic Lab is a growing medial spa in the heart of Dallas, Texas. We are looking for a social media manager to help manage our social media accounts (Instagram and TikTok) as well as plan our photo shoots. You must be available to come to the office twice weekly (10am-6pm)
Qualifications
· Proven work experience as a social media manager (please show a portfolio) (med spa experience preferred)
· In depth knowledge of social media platforms, their respective audience and best practices
· Experience in digital marketing, including SEOs
· Proficient in photography and video editing software tools
· Excellent communication (written and verbal)
· Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
· Proficient with Canva
· Must be available in person and virtually (in person once a week minimum)
· Preferred website building experience
Responsibilities: Including but not limited to:
- Content Creation: Developing engaging, creative content for all social media platforms such as the website, IG and Tiktok (but not limited to)
- Content Scheduling & Posting: Managing the content calendar, ensuring posts are timely and in alignment with brand messaging.
- Community Engagement: Interacting with our audience through comments and discussions to maintain and grow community presence.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Tracking engagement metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly. Monthly reports on performance and growth to be shared with the team.
- Brand Alignment: Ensuring all social media content is aligned with our brand voice, values, and marketing objectives.
- Collaboration: Working closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure social media campaigns are integrated with overall marketing strategies.
- Trend Monitoring: Staying updated on the latest trends in social media, incorporating relevant strategies into our campaigns.
- Emails & Text Marketing: create and send out emails/texts with current promotions or marketing information
· Event Promotion & Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns for product launches, events, promotions, and special initiatives. Including planning photoshoots, etc.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience managing social media platforms for businesses, including content creation and community management.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and tools
- Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Capcut or other similar programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A keen eye for trends, visual storytelling, and engagement strategies.
