Calvin Community is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on our 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

What You’ll Do

As an RN/LPN at Calvin Community, you will play an important role in providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assess residents' health needs and monitor their overall condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
• Accurately document resident care, progress, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Communicate with residents and their families regarding care, needs, and changes in condition
• Work closely with CNAs, nurses, providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Recognize changes in residents' conditions and respond appropriately
• Provide compassionate support while promoting residents' dignity, independence, and quality of life
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing practices and participate in ongoing professional development
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Current Iowa RN / LPN license in good standing
• Previous nursing experience preferred; geriatric/long-term care experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to providing safe, respectful, and resident-centered care
