What are the responsibilities and job description for the Permit Technician position at Calvey Heating and Air?
Heating and A/C contractor in Silicon Valley looking for motivated individual that can work independently.Duties include:Apply(filling in application forms) in person (post COVID) and online to submit Permit applications to various local authorities along the Peninsula (i.e. Palo Alto, San Mateo, Menlo Park, San Jose) for Furnace and A/C for homeowners. forms for CALCERTS also must be submitted on line. When Heating or A/C installation job is complete, appts for Inspections need to be booked with authorities to have work Inspected and passed Applicant needs to sit for the inspection, waiting for inspection and keeping homeowner and inspector informed of progress. This is a perfect position for someone that does not want to be tied down to full time hours. You must be organized, neat, able to communicate by phone and in person. Neat attire for inspections and able to represent our Company in a professional manner. Experience in this field would be great but not mandatory, as training will be given.
