This role oversees the hospital’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes to support strategic and operational decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading financial modeling and scenario analysis, preparing and reviewing financial reports, and providing clear, data-driven insights to senior leadership. The director collaborates closely with clinical and administrative departments to align financial performance with organizational goals, monitors key performance indicators, and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and resource utilization. The role also involves mentoring FP&A staff, strengthening financial policies and tools, and supporting regulatory and board reporting requirements.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Progressive experience in FP&A or related financial leadership roles, ideally within healthcare or a similarly complex, regulated environment.
- Proficiency with financial systems, ERP platforms, and spreadsheet and data visualization tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage cross-functional projects, and drive process improvements.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or HFMA credentials are beneficial.
