- Job Summary:
- On a daily basis, coordinates and communicates assignment/reassignment of nursing staff throughout the organization. Manages bed assignment and patient flow process. Functions as hospital administrator on off shifts.
- Education:
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing preferred. Will consider specialty certification and nursing leadership experience in lieu of BSN.
- Registration/Certification/Licensure:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland.
- Experience:
- Progressive experience in the nursing field with a broad knowledge of nursing skills and techniques. Must have at least three (3) years experience as an R.N. Previous Charge Nurse, management or leadership experience preferred.
- Other Requirements:
- Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
- Stroke Training required with 30 days of hire.
- Maintain unit specific and hospital competencies in accordance with policy requirements.
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
