Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Estimator role based in Manassas, VA. The Estimator will review architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and addenda to prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for masonry projects of varying size and complexity. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing project scope, preparing detailed bids and proposals, requesting and evaluating material and subcontractor pricing, and maintaining current knowledge of labor, equipment, and material costs. The Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, field teams, and leadership to support bid strategies, value engineering options, and budget development, while tracking bidding opportunities and following up with clients and partners. The role also involves maintaining estimating databases and templates, supporting pre-construction planning, and contributing to continuous improvement of estimating processes.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong construction estimating skills, including reading and interpreting plans and specifications, performing masonry quantity takeoffs, and preparing detailed cost estimates and bids.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with relevant software tools, such as estimating software, Microsoft Excel, and other construction or project management applications.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical and mathematical skills, including cost analysis, comparison of bids and proposals, and evaluation of labor, material, and equipment pricing.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams, general contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management abilities, including managing multiple bids, meeting deadlines, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Relevant experience in masonry, general construction, or commercial projects, particularly in the Virginia/DC/MD region, is highly beneficial.
- A background in construction management, engineering, or a related field (degree, certification, or equivalent experience) is preferred.
