Job Overview
This hybrid role is ideal for someone who understands the unique challenges of masonry work and thrives on being part of the solution-not just enforcing rules. You'll be a key resource between the field, general contractors, and insurance providers, helping us maintain safe, productive job sites without slowing down progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary safety liaison for internal crews, general contractors, and insurance representatives.
- Participate in preconstruction meetings and SafeStart planning with clients and teams.
- Conduct incident investigations and collaborate on corrective action plans.
- Educate and train field staff on safety protocols with a focus on real-world applications.
- Assist in the administration of Workers' Compensation processes and claims.
- Be actively involved in project workflows outside of traditional safety tasks.
- Promote a solutions-oriented safety culture that supports operational efficiency.
- Maintain OSHA 30-level compliance standards and documentation.
- Support project teams in planning safe execution of masonry activities.
Qualifications
- 5 years of safety management experience in a construction or masonry setting, including ground-up construction projects.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Associate's Degree preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across departments and job sites.
- Experience interfacing with insurance providers and general contractors.
- Proactive mindset focused on collaborative problem-solving.
- Willingness to support multiple aspects of the business outside of strict safety responsibilities.
