What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Dentist position at Calvert Dentistry?
Associate Dentist Opportunity | Calvert Dentistry Prince Frederick, MD
This opportunity is best suited for a dentist who knows they’re capable of more. Someone who has built a solid clinical foundation but is starting to feel the ceiling of their current environment. You’re ready to grow clinically, expand your skillset, and step into a practice that will support that next level without compromising quality or values.
As the longest-standing privately owned dental practice in Prince Frederick, Maryland, our reputation is rooted in trust, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to delivering the best quality dentistry to our patients. We’ve created an environment that blends a true hometown feel with a standard of care that reflects modern, comprehensive dentistry at a high level.
You’ll be stepping into a well-established patient base, with the mentorship, autonomy, and infrastructure to continue evolving as a clinician. Not rushed, not micromanaged, but guided with intention.
For those considering relocation, Calvert County offers a lifestyle that’s hard to replicate. Waterfront views, outdoor living, and a slower pace that doesn’t come at the expense of opportunity. It’s one of Maryland’s best-kept secrets.
This is more than a position. It’s a place to build something long-term, alongside a team that takes pride in what they do.
What we’re looking for:
- A dentist with at least 1 year of clinical experience
- Someone who wants to expand beyond bread-and-butter dentistry
- Interest in growing into more advanced procedures
- A strong communicator who can build trust with patients and collaborate with a team
- Someone who takes ownership of their growth
- A dentist who is confident stepping into a leadership role, or excited to develop those skills over time
What makes this different:
- Real mentorship and support, not just being “thrown in”
- Opportunity for clinical growth without being micromanaged
- A team that is aligned, accountable, and motivated
- The ability to grow into leadership within the practice
- Long-term opportunity for the right candidate
