Regional Director of Nursing – Skilled Nursing Facilities
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Director of Nursing to support and oversee clinical operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities. This position plays a key role in ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff development.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance to facility nursing teams.
- Support compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
- Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Assist with staff training, education, and mentorship.
- Collaborate with administrators and directors of nursing to improve outcomes.
- Conduct audits, assessments, and provide actionable recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license (active and in good standing).
- Must have prior skilled nursing/long-term care experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years of nursing leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines and survey processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel regularly between facilities.
