What are the responsibilities and job description for the (SEA) Pool Clerk/Gate Attendant position at Calvert County, MD?
JOB
Calvert County Parks and Recreation is seeking qualified candidates to fill their Pool Clerk positions at Cove Point Pool and Kings Landing Pool for the summer season.
Pool clerks will be stationed at both Kings Landing Pool and Cove Point Pool. Hours start as early as 6 a.m. to as late as 8 p.m.; there will be different shifts available. Employees will be required to work shifts throughout the week as well as weekends and holidays.
Responsible for the collection and accounting of entrance fees, preparation of attendance reports and general cleaning of facility.
Essential Job Functions
Collects entrance fees and sells season passes.
Records financial and attendance data; organizes and tabulates data and complete reports.
Answers telephone calls.
Gives information relating to pool or park operation to the general public.
Other Job Duties (Duties listed are not intended to be all inclusive nor to limit duties that might reasonably be assigned.)
Aids in the cleaning of the pool or park, bath house and related areas.
Performs related work as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (These are pre-employment KSA that apply only to Essential Job Functions.)
Ability to--
Deal effectively with the public.
Make arithmetic computations quickly and accurately.
Demonstrate good public relation skills.
Required Qualifications (Note: Any acceptable combination of education, training and relevant experience that provides the above knowledge, abilities and skills may be substituted on a full-time year for year basis.)

Special Requirements:
Work Permit required if under 18 years of age.
Subject to background investigation.
Physical Demands:
Requires light to medium physical effort.
Unusual Demands:
Flexible schedules to include: early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work location may expose employee to vehicle exhaust.
Work may be conducted in a facility partially exposed to heat, cold, wind, and precipitation.

H02: $16.10 per hour
