Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves implementing engaging curriculum activities that promote learning through play and exploration while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social interaction among children.
- Conduct regular assessments of student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques to promote good conduct.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Skills
- Strong background in Childcare and Preschool education.
- Knowledge of Early Intervention strategies to support children with diverse needs.
- Experience in Daycare settings with a focus on nurturing young learners.
- Proficient in Classroom Management techniques to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Ability to provide Tutoring support for literacy education and other subjects as needed.
- Experience in Curriculum Development tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing positively to their growth and development.
