Duties

- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective conflict management and behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
- Incorporate Montessori, early childhood education principles, or other instructional frameworks to support varied learning styles and developmental stages.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to provide academic advising and tailored support for individual student needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral incidents while ensuring compliance with school policies.
- Foster strong communication skills by regularly updating parents on student progress and classroom activities through meetings or digital platforms.
- Support early childhood development by creating age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity and foundational skills in preschool or toddler care settings.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience in elementary education or preschool settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional design tailored for young learners.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is advantageous.
- Familiarity with learning technology tools such as LMS platforms and digital resources for interactive teaching.
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques, behavior management strategies, and conflict resolution skills essential for maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Previous private school experience or Montessori training is a plus but not required.
