POSITION DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: CCA Worship Leader
DEPARTMENT: Calvary Christian Academy
REPORTS TO: Director of Discipleship/Secondary Principal
STATUS: Non-Exempt, PT
LOCATION: All CCA Campuses

Purpose Statement:
To disciple, train, and lead students in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. To lead students in worship, and developing them to lead their peers.
Scope:
To provide worship for CCA events and cultivate a culture of growing worship leaders in middle and high school. Will adjust as the school and events shift. To work alongside the CCA discipleship team in preparing and executing weekly chapels, events, and retreats.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Model Christ in word and deed.
- Manage and develop current youth worship leaders and musicians.
- Recruit and train new singers and musicians to serve.
- Disciple youth worship teams and leaders.
- Prepare and practice leading worship multiple times weekly in varying venues.
- Schedule and communicate services and needs to the students.
- Organize and lead worship team meetings.
- Meet with CCA leadership to align with the vision and coordinate services.
- Manage online databases of songs, schedules, charts, volunteers.
- Maintain a strong relationship with the Audio-Visual Department, and effectively communicate weekly service needs to them.
- Administrative and office needs weekly.
Qualifications/Skills/Gifts:
- Strong Personal commitment to Jesus Christ
- Alignment with the Philosophy and Statement of Faith of Calvary Chapel and CCA.
- Experience Leading Worship.
- Musical proficiency in both singing and instrumentation (acoustic or keys preferred).
- Able to teach and train.
- Proficient in Ableton Live, Planning Center Online, and Pro-Presenter.
- Group facilitation skills
- Must be able of lifting 40 lbs
