JOB TITLE: Ministry Assistant of Calvary House for Women
DEPARTMENT: Recovery
REPORTS TO: Director of Calvary House for Women
STATUS: Hourly Non - Exempt
HOURS: Full Time (40)
LOCATION: Fort Lauderdale

- Respond to calls, emails, and applications
- Provide resources and direction for women who call the ministry in need
- Teach the women the gospel of Jesus Christ and assuring the residents of
- Take the residents through the “12 Spiritual Steps”
- Provide case management for the residents in regards to probation visits, doctor
- Track the uniforms of all residents through our Cintas account
- Complete the fingerprint and background screening process for all new residents
- Complete the Intake for all new residents
- Assist in planning all ministry related events
- Plan and execute all birthday celebrations for residents and Alumni gatherings
- Plan and execute meals cooked by residents for Family Day
- Attend and contribute to weekly House Meetings
- Being proactive in maintenance and repair orders on the Calvary House For Women property, including grounds, exterior and interiors of buildings through HIPPOS and communication with the Director
- Deposit all rent checks for the transitional home
- Calendar appointments and/or events for residents
- Knowledge on biblical application & Recovery
- Knowledge of the Word of God
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to keep matters confidential
- Strong organizational skills
- The ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility with good time management skills
- Ability to assist in conflict management between residents

- This is a full-time (40 hours/week) hourly non - exempt position.
- You may have to work evenings and/or weekends to assist with special events or emergencies.
