Communications Coordinator

Calvary Chapel Eagle
Eagle, ID Full Time
POSTED ON 6/26/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 12/20/2026

About Calvary Chapel Eagle:

Located in Idaho's beautiful Treasure Valley, Calvary Chapel Eagle relaunched in October 2023 under the leadership of Pastor Brenen Beeler. Since then, we've seen over 250 first-time commitments to Christ, more than 140 baptisms, and over 30 small groups launched. Our church is growing rapidly, and we're passionate about seeing revival in our community and helping people become fully devoted followers of Jesus. We're praying for revival and building a team ready to meet the moment.

About the Role:

The Communications Coordinator helps tell the story of what God is doing at Calvary Chapel Eagle by executing the day-to-day communications of the church with clarity, creativity, and consistency. This role exists to make sure people inside and outside the church can find CCE, stay connected, and take their next step in following Jesus.

The Communications Coordinator owns the execution of CCE's communication calendar, social media, storytelling content, website updates, and community awareness campaigns. This role partners closely with the Creative team, who approves the look and feel of all communications produced. It's an ideal role for someone who is creative, organized, and energized by getting the right message in front of the right people at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute Communication Plans Across All Channels
  • Carry out churchwide communication plans across stage announcements, Calvary Connect, Gloo texting, social media, email, and print.
  • Keep all communications clear, timely, and aligned with the church calendar and ministry priorities.
  • Maintain the Master Calendar so the whole team has a consistent view of services, events, and announcement timing.

2. Manage Social Media and Digital Platforms

  • Manage CCE's social media accounts as a primary channel for connection, invitation, and discipleship.
  • Schedule and post content, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and DMs in a way that reflects the heart and culture of CCE.
  • Keep the CCE website current, welcoming, and easy to navigate, especially for first-time visitors.
  • Publish and distribute the CCE podcast to extend biblical teaching beyond Sundays.

3. Capture and Share Stories

  • Attend services and events to capture photos, videos, and testimonies that show what God is doing in and through the church body.
  • Edit and publish storytelling content (testimonies, baptisms, ministry impact, missions trips) across digital platforms.
  • Help the church see and celebrate life change happening among us.

4. Support Community Awareness Campaigns

  • Execute community awareness campaigns including mailers, digital ads, and search efforts so people in the Treasure Valley can find CCE.
  • Track ad spend and cost-per-Planned-Visit, and share results with the Creative team to inform future campaigns.
  • Make the path from curiosity to a first visit as simple and inviting as possible.

5. Collaborate Across Ministry Teams

  • Partner with ministry leaders to gather promotional needs and translate them into compelling communications.
  • Submit creative requests through the Creative team and steward brand consistency in everything that goes out.
  • Continuously survey the church body to make sure people feel aware and informed about what's happening.

Qualifications:

  • A growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the mission and vision of Calvary Chapel Eagle.
  • A heart for helping people find and connect with the local church.
  • Experience in communications, social media, or digital content, ideally in a church or ministry setting.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with an eye for clarity and creativity.
  • Comfortable capturing photo and video content via phone or camera during live services and events.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Google Suite, social media platforms, and church communication tools (or willingness to learn).
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple deadlines without losing details.
