Elementary Teacher Aide — Calvary Academy (Opening Fall 2026)
Location: Morgantown, WV
Position Type: Part-Time
Calvary Academy is a new Christian microschool launching in Fall 2026 with a vision to cultivate devoted disciples of Christ who are curious, compassionate, and grounded in truth. We are seeking teachers aides who desire to invest deeply in students; spiritually, academically, and personally, while partnering with families. Calvary Academy is an outreach ministry of Calvary Chapel Morgantown.

Responsibilities
- Assist head teacher with teaching core subjects using a Christ-centered, academically rich curriculum
- Shepherd students through daily routines, modeling Christlike character
- Build strong relationships with families in a spirit of partnership
- Incorporate nature studies, hands-on activities, and small-group learning
- Participate in staff prayer, development, and community-building
- Contribute to the overall mission and culture of Calvary Academy
Qualifications
- Prior teaching experience preferred (classroom, homeschool, co-op, or ministry-based experience all considered)
- Strong Christian character and alignment with our mission and values
- Ability to create a nurturing, orderly, and joy-filled classroom environment
- Willingness to be trained in our instructional models and school practices
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; alternative pathways considered for exceptional candidates
