Your Purpose

As the Director of Product Support Services, you’ll lead Calumet’s product support and regulatory compliance functions across our Specialty Chemicals business. This strategic leadership role is responsible for ensuring regulatory excellence, driving customer-centric product support, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will lead and develop high-performing technical and regulatory teams, guide quality systems strategy, and ensure Calumet remains compliant with evolving global standards.

Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance
  • Stay ahead of changes in regulations and standards affecting product quality, safety, and performance.
  • Oversee systems to ensure compliance with all applicable global, federal, and industry-specific regulations.
Product Services & Customer Support
  • Monitor customer feedback to uncover patterns and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and evolve the product support function to deliver fast, accurate, and customer-aligned service.
  • Establish systems for maintaining technical market intelligence and timely product data.
Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead, coach, and develop regulatory and technical support professionals to maximize performance and engagement.
  • Deliver regular reports on product performance, customer feedback, audit results, and improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and manage budgets, resources, and priorities to meet strategic goals.
Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement
  • Promote integration of quality management across the product lifecycle.
  • Present data-driven insights to executive stakeholders to improve efficiency and drive innovation.
  • Champion a culture of excellence, accountability, and ongoing development.
What You’ll Bring

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a Science-related discipline.
  • 10 years of experience in Product Technical Services, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
  • 5 years leading and coaching high-performing teams.
  • Proven experience in specialty chemicals or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality methodologies, audits, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, GMP).
  • Skilled in data analysis and managing quality-related metrics.
Preferred:
  • Master’s degree or ASQ certifications (e.g., CMQOE, ISO 9001, Lean, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Product Regulatory Affairs (e.g., REACH, HAZCOM).
  • Experience with FDA, ISO, and Quality Management System standards.
  • Track record of implementing and maintaining ISO-certified systems.
