Responsibilities
Calumet is currently accepting applications for project management position to join the team. Project Manager will receive contract and overall budget and be responsible for the following:
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems within the project including coordinating with city, county, state engineers / owners, craft unions, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Project and track job costs
- Prepare progress payment applications to owners and track timely payments
- Authorize and approve all project transactions
- Create and update master project schedules
- Ensure company procedures, policies, and quality are maintained
Experience & Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and / or Construction Management preferred and / or five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in related field
- Experience on municipal and state highway contracts preferred
- Experience with concrete flatwork and curb, asphalt paving, and earthwork and underground utilities.
- Proficiency Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / Access / Project)
- Proficiency with Heavy Bid / Heavy Job (HCSS), Planswift, Agtek helpful
