FULL TIME HEAD MAINTENANCE

Position Overview:
AmericInn by Wyndham is seeking a reliable and experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance and repair needs of the hotel to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our guests and staff. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, general maintenance knowledge, and experience with pool maintenance and facility upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general building maintenance including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs
• Oversee indoor pool and hot tub maintenance, including daily water testing, chemical balancing, cleaning, and equipment checks
• Ensure pool area meets safety and health standards
• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks throughout the hotel property
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
• Maintain maintenance logs and pool chemical records
• Assist with seasonal property upkeep such as snow removal, landscaping, and exterior maintenance
• Work with management to prioritize and schedule repairs and improvements

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)
• Knowledge of pool maintenance and water chemistry preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
• Must be dependable and able to maintain a consistent work schedule

Schedule:

• Full-Time Position
• Primarily 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM shift (may vary as needed)
