Hiring Range

The hiring range for this position is $18.00-$21.00 p/hour. This is the pay scale range Caltrol reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary based on geographic region, skills, qualifications, and experience of the candidate, along with the requirements of the position. 

What you'll Do

• Assist with receiving shop assemblies and preparing products for timely shipments
• Pull, organize, and stage materials and orders to support shop technicians and upcoming work
• Help improve shop efficiency by supporting technicians with tasks that keep projects moving forward
• Prepare and organize work areas, materials, and equipment to ensure orders are completed on time
• Secure valves and equipment in crates and strap materials to pallets following established packing procedures
• Help ensure products are shipped safely and arrive at customer sites in excellent condition
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and warehouse environment
• Learn alongside experienced shop technicians while developing valuable mechanical and technical skills
• Support daily operations and contribute to a team focused on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This position works primarily in a shop and warehouse environment and follows a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with occasional overtime as business needs require. While performing job duties, employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, powered industrial equipment, standard warehouse tools and equipment, and varying indoor and outdoor temperatures. Safety is a top priority, and employees are expected to follow all safety procedures and utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
• Frequent reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and twisting
• Ability to safely operate basic hand tools and shop equipment
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification
