About the Position:
The Caltrans Sacramento Legal Office is looking for a well-qualified and highly motivated attorneys with experience and/or interest in civil litigation. The candidates will join our office with primary focus on defending Caltrans in tort and/or employment cases. Trial experience is preferred but not required.
As an employee of the State of California, the total compensation and benefits are excellent. This includes holidays, vacation and sick leave (or annual leave), health, dental, vision and pension benefits. Telework may be available, but attorneys are expected to report to the office in Sacramento and appear at depositions, court hearing, etc. throughout the State.
