What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Router Operator position at Calsak Plastics?
Job Description/Purpose: A cnc operator is vital to the success of the Profit Center (PC) team, to produce parts on time for our customers. The cnc operator will be responsible for programming, setup and operation of two cnc routers producing a variety of parts with various plastic materials. The cnc operator will be required to inspect for quality dimensionally and aesthetics. You will be required to program from customer supplied drawings (DXF, DWG) as well as creating a CAD drawing from scratch or a model.
Position Responsibilities:
· Performs daily programming, setup and operation of cnc routers.
· Safely and effectively operates the equipment. Anderson 5x10 CNC Router, Hendrick 5x10 CNC Router
· Works with the warehouse supervisor to set a production schedule to make sure we are completing jobs by due dates required, program parts via cad in advance of running the job.
· AlphaCam Programming Software experience is a bonus.
· Records finished goods produced
· Post processing of parts as required
· Other duties as required.
