What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Finance position at CaloAesthetics Plastic Surgery Center?
Lead finance for a growing healthcare and real estate group
Calobrace MSO is the management services organization behind a multi-location healthcare surgery group and a property management business. The MSO provides finance, HR, IT, marketing and operations support to each. Our accounting team handles transactions, payables, reconciliations and the monthly close. We’re hiring our first in-house finance leader to build what goes on top: reporting leadership can act on, a real budgeting and forecasting process, and the analysis behind pricing, capacity, property and growth decisions. This is a hands-on build role with a clear path to leading the full finance function.
What you’ll do
• Deliver monthly financial statements for each healthcare and property entity, plus consolidated results, and lead the monthly results review with the CEO
• Build the annual budget, the monthly budget-versus-actual reporting and the variance reviews, quarterly reforecasts and a 13-week cash forecast
• Create KPI scorecards: surgical volume, OR utilization, provider productivity and margin by procedure for healthcare, and occupancy, rent roll and property-level cash flow for real estate
• Account for MSO fees, intercompany and related-party leases across the group
• Build business cases for new services, sites, properties, equipment and hires
• Design the chart of accounts, the close standards and the internal controls, working alongside the Controller and accounting team
• Serve as the in-house lead for the outside CPA, the fractional CFO, the lenders and the banking relationships
In your first year you’ll
• Have leadership receiving a monthly financial package within 3 months, with statements out within 10 business days of month-end
• Run our first full budget cycle across the healthcare and property entities
What you bring
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; a CPA or CMA is strongly preferred
• 7 years in accounting and FP&A, including at least 2 years leading the work or a team
• A track record of building reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes from a light starting point
• Multi-entity experience: intercompany entries, management fees, related-party leases and consolidation
• Advanced Excel and modeling skills, and QuickBooks Online
• The ability to explain the numbers clearly to physicians and executives
• Healthcare, surgery center or MSO experience is a strong plus; real estate or property management accounting is a plus
Why join
• You’ll be the first in-house finance leader, and you’ll shape how finance runs across healthcare and real estate operations
• You’ll work directly with the CEO and executive team to grow an expanding medical aesthetics and real estate portfolio
• The role is designed to grow into senior finance leadership as you prove the foundation
TO APPLY: Attach your resume with a short note about a reporting or budgeting process you built and what changed because of it.
