Pay: $33.00 - $37.00 an hour, depending on experience

Full-Time:
- Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three days a week with rotating weekends
CALO Programs is seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our multidisciplinary team. You will play a vital role in promoting the health, safety, and well-being of our preadolescent and adolescent students with supporting high-quality nursing care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to a safe and positive environment for the students we serve.
Accepting applications for both Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses.
- Provide direct nursing care following CALO standards and SOPs.
- Administer medications safely and accurately.
- Triage and treat illnesses and injuries within scope of practice.
- Follow infection control protocols and respond to infectious diseases.
- Complete all documentation in BestNotes by end of shift.
- Perform waived testing, phlebotomy, and basic nursing procedures.
- Process physician orders and maintain student health compliance.
- Support and guide unlicensed nursing staff.
- Maintain healthy boundaries and positive relationships with students and staff.
- Assist with client admissions and intake processes, as needed.
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Free of communicable disease, other evidence of ill health, or a condition which adversely affects ability to care for or poses a threat to children
- Experience – Psychiatric or residential nursing experience preferred.
- Education – Current Missouri or compact state license (in good standing as an RN or LPN). Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
