Patient and Client Interaction
- Patient Education: Educating patients or clients on health conditions, treatment plans, and wellness strategies.
- Providing Guidance: Offering advice and support to individuals to help them achieve their health goals.
- Answering Inquiries: Responding to questions about a wide range of health-related topics, including symptoms, medications, and appointment scheduling.
- Resource Navigation: Helping patients find and access local health services, support groups, and community resources.
- Customer Service: Serving as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries and concerns.
Administrative and Operational Tasks
- Data Management: Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in a database or electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Appointment Scheduling: Booking, confirming, and managing appointments for patients with various healthcare providers.
- Coordination of Care: Communicating and collaborating with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Insurance and Billing: Assisting with insurance verification, claim submission, and explaining billing statements to patients.
- Documentation: Documenting all patient interactions, advice given, and outcomes in a clear and timely manner.
