Responsibilities
- Deliver a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments tailored to individual client needs.
- Perform comprehensive client assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on physiology knowledge, anatomy understanding, and pain management experience.
- Provide skincare services as an licensed esthetician, including facials, skin analysis, and other facial treatments to enhance clients’ natural beauty.
- Maintain clear communication with clients about treatment procedures, benefits, and aftercare instructions to ensure a satisfying experience.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient service by creating a relaxing environment, demonstrating empathy, and ensuring client comfort throughout each session.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols including CPR certification and proper sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
- Stay informed about the latest techniques in massage therapy and esthetics by participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Massage Therapist and Esthetician in accordance with state regulations.
- Proven experience in massage therapy with proficiency in Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and pain management techniques.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles relevant to therapeutic treatments.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately and recommend suitable therapies.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient service excellence with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Current CPR certification is required; additional certifications related to massage therapy or esthetics are preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
